Dr Meys graduated from medical school with an MB, BS (Honors) from the University of Tasmania, Australia in 1998. She completed her General Medical training and Dermatology Specialty training (residency) in the UK. She worked at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (2004-2007), and several prominent NHS teaching hospitals in London from (2007-2014) including Chelsea and Westminster, University College London, Barts and the London, Northwick Park and the Royal Free NHS Hospitals.
She has published numerous research and clinical papers in peer reviewed journals and co-written a book chapter on dermatological surgery. Her higher degree in research (MD Res) at Imperial College, London was in Human Papilloma virus (warts). She has presented her papers at conferences in the UK and worldwide.
Dr. Meys has a breadth of experience in treating general and complex dermatology, in skin cancer diagnosis and management and fellowship experience in skin cancer surgery. Her areas of expertise are general dermatological conditions in a wide variety of skin types, including: mole checks and skin cancer, inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema and blistering disorders, urticaria, hair and nail dermatology, acute and complex skin conditions, infective skin problems, paediatric dermatology, warts and genital dermatology.
She currently works at the Royal Free NHS Trust, London on a part time basis.
Dr. Rhonda has been practicing Dermatology for 1 year in Dubai.
